The Village Makers transformed the studio into a space where ideas emerged through materials, making and experimentation. Working with reclaimed and industrial materials, participants moved between sketching, prototyping and fabrication, responding to the possibilities and constraints of materials rather than following predetermined solutions. The workshop positioned making as inquiry, while collaboration, feedback and shared knowledge became integral to the process. The resulting furniture and functional objects not only reflected the participants’ learning but became lasting additions to the TDV Italy campus.
