The residency explored how place, ecology, material and culture can shape the way we design. Participants moved between Torrazzetta and Milan, encountering agriculture, craftsmanship, material practices, fashion, architecture and industry alongside masterclasses and studio sessions. These encounters encouraged participants to look beyond isolated objects and understand the relationships that surround them. The reflection was a slower, place-based approach to design, where the character, resources and knowledge of a place inform what and how we create.
