Communitree invited participants to understand community beyond its human dimension, as an interconnected ecology of people, landscapes, materials and living systems. Through walking, mapping, photography, sound, drawing and material collection, participants developed ways of recognising hidden relationships and patterns within the landscape. Reflection and collective analysis transformed documentation into inquiry, culminating in a public exhibition. The programme ultimately demonstrated that observation can itself become a design practice, encouraging more thoughtful engagement with communities, landscapes and environments.
